Kim - Looks good. I appreciate having the electronic copies of the tools. Lana has taken the parent CSEFEL training and hopes to take the pre-k as well. Kathleen and I will be out of the office most of this week, but will be glad to meet when we get back. (she will also be gone the first two weeks in August)

Welcome to Your Newthe Lee Early Childhood Community Wiki!
This is the information (and more) that I promised to post to a Wiki after our meeting on July 7, 2009. These materials are resources from the USF, Program-Wide Positive Behavior Support Program. As noted on the documents, permission would be required, if the Lee Early Childhood Community decided to use these materials to support our proposed project. Please review these materials. The next possible steps or major decisions would involve......
1. Selection of a minimum of three sites, one from the district, Head Start, and Early Learning Coalition. You might consider looking for three that cluster in a single geographic location within Lee County. The Benchmarks of Quality could be used as a standard of "readiness" to select a participating elementary school, program or center. The Benchmarks may not be the only consideration.....administrative support, stability of staff, prior training in social emotion development and/or young children with challenging behavior, or a commitment to children with disabilities/inclusion may be other considerations.
2. Development of a strategic plan for training and coaching in CSEFEL, PreK Modules, Infant/Toddler Modules, and Positive Solutions for Families
